"the Farm

Our heart is in our territory, and therefore in our cacao.

This harmony between people and planet is what gives our cacao its soul — and our chocolate its story.

We arrived here in 2023, with a dream, which most thought was a bit crazy. Despite the challenges, our faith in what was meant to come has unfolded perfectly. Spirit is guiding and helping every step of the way.

Located about two and half hours from Medellin, down a pretty terrible dirt road, our 300 acres waits to receive you.

Our intention isn't just to live our best lives here. We are carefully cultivating the future here, one that we hope to share with all of you.

In these first years, we have been focused on the infrastructure, building the road, the bridge, the factory. Making sure we all have homes to live in comfortably, making sure the animals are happy. We have planted food for us and for the native species here, so we can live in harmony. We have reforested an old cow pasture, planting 3500 trees, which are growing happily. We hope someday to reforest much more.

We have planted over 2000 new cacao trees, 900 copuazul, 400 macambo (or jaguar cacao), 6000 coffee, 2000 bananas and plantains, 1500 pineapples, 180 citrus, and just about every tropical fruit you can think of. We have also started planting medicine, brought from the different tribes of Colombia as well as the world. We have 5 natural springs providing the purest water on earth, and a lake full of tilapia.

We have been steadily working on renovating the existing cacao so it is organic and producing great tasting cacao. New cacao has been planted as well as cousins of cacao, theobroma bicolor (also known as jaguar cacao or macambo-white cacao, great as well as a nutty snack), theobroma grandiflorum (copuazul- for juice and oil), and theobroma microcarpum (a wild cacao that was a gift from our friend Taita Leo of Putumayo). We continue the hunt for more cacao species.

We have now started on building beautiful things to host visitors. Our first bamboo cabin is ready, 6 more to go. The ceremony temple is up next, the moon garden for watching the stars. The meditation space by the lake is ready, and we have planted hundreds of decorative trees and flowers.

We invite you to come spend the day for a tour, spend a night or three to really enjoy, rent or join us for a workshop or retreat. We are working on our first cacao retreat to happen in May of 2026, where you were learn all about cacao, learn how to host your own cacao ceremony, learn from the Mamo and Saga, the spiritual elders of the Arhuaco tribe.

For those of you that lead ceremonies for your communities, we invite you to bring your own group here for a customized retreat suiting your needs.
